WUAT'S This? A Wonderfully Unexpected & Terribly Small RPG
A downloadable game
What's this? WUAT'S This?!
A play anything/everywhere diceless RPG where you always succeed at doing a thing but something wonderful, unexpected or terrible also occurs when you do the thing.
Fitting onto both sides of a business card, this is a distillation of the character creation from Cælia & The Malfeasant Mushroom (released Summer 2024) combined with a guess-the-number resolution mechanic I've been noodling around with for a while.
Perfect for car journeys and long walks!
Dice/Solo Variant
You can roll an appropriately-sized die (d4, d6, or d8) each instead of guessing if you want to avoid that element (though you would miss out on putting a hand to your temple like Charles Xavier though (unless you do it anyway, I'm not stopping you)).
This also enables solo play — if you have an oracle of some sort — by rolling two differently coloured dice of the same size yourself.
Support, Mine & Yours
Speaking of oracles, I'm working on a thing to accompany 'Wuat'sThis?' to make it a fuller, better supported RPG with character and adventure creation so please do purchase a copy or leave a star rating if you're interested in seeing this project expand.
All purchases will also (hypothetically) get access to a handful of differently themed version if/when I get around to making them, eg Christmas, Halloween, fantasy, robots, etc.
Thank You for Your Interest!
This may be terribly small but hopefully you find it unexpectedly wonderful.

Inspiration
A polite hat tip to Amazing Tales for its use of differently sized dice to differentiate how good a character is at something!
